Information we collect

We process account details such as name, email, verified phone number when Scotty is linked, authentication records, websites you submit, analysis results, purchase status, and technical security logs. Payment-card details are collected and processed by Stripe and are not stored by SEL Insights.

Why we process it

We use this information to create and secure accounts, verify identities, provide purchased analyses, prevent abuse, deliver receipts, respond to support requests, maintain service reliability, and meet legal obligations.

Website analysis data

Only submit websites you own or are authorized to analyze. The crawler requests public pages conservatively and respects robots.txt. Results are isolated to the owning customer account and authorized SEL administrators.

Service providers

We use infrastructure providers necessary to operate the service, Stripe for payment processing, and Scotty for optional phone authentication. Each provider processes data under its own contractual and privacy obligations.

Retention and security

We retain account, purchase, receipt, and analysis history while your account is active and as required for operational, accounting, security, or legal needs. We use access controls, password hashing, CSRF protection, encrypted transport, rate limiting, and account-level data isolation.

Your choices

You may update account information from My Account. To request access, correction, deletion, or export where applicable, contact support. Some purchase and security records may need to be retained.
